#JurassicWorld Movie Updates

The dinosaurs that scared me while growing up are coming back to the big screen. June 12, 2015 is the set release date for the anticipate for the “Jurassic World” movie.

Chris Pratt will take on a lead role as a scientist, and is joined by other famous faces. Judy Greer, Bryce Dallas Howard, Lauren Lapkus, Jake Johnson, and Vincent D’Onofrio have roles in the forth installment of the franchise.

Safety Not Guaranteed director, Colin Trevorrow, is directing the Universal Pictures production and likes to show sneak peaks of the film on his Twitter account. Less than a day ago he tweeted out this movie still from Jurassic with the caption, “See you next summer, Star-Lord. #GOTG”, referring to Pratt’s current Marvel blockbuster “Guardians of the Galaxy”. Chris Pratt is killing it with that deep stare (and hopefully will not be killed off by dinosaurs).

The adventurous sic-fi film’s premise, according to Wikipedia is, “Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. This new park is owned by the Patel Corporation. Owen (portrayed by Chris Pratt), a member of Jurassic World’s on-site staff, conducts behavioral research on the Velociraptors. After many years, Jurassic World’s attendance rates begin to decline, and a new attraction created to re-spark visitor interest gravely backfires.”

Entertainment Weekly visited the set back in April when filming began and got exclusives, including these photos seen below. This gallery also features tweets about the film, and photos released by Universal Pictures.
